5G antennas and Modems
Common Questions:
Why is my 5G internet slower than my iPhone?
Why does my speed change during certain times of the day?
Can I use 5G internet on the road? Why do they want to know where I live?
Many companies have begun offering 5G internet solutions on top of their phone networks. These companies are offering this service in areas where they have access bandwidth. It is called FAW (fixed area wireless) and they want to know your location before offering it to you. They don't want you travelling with this solution as it can create QoS (quality of service) problems in areas that are more congested. In an attempt to balance unexpected loads, and continue to offer fast service to the majority of the users, telco companies are utilizing priority groups where phones are given a higher priority than home internet users. So, if you are in a congested area you might experience some slow downs but hopefully they are not too bad.
